Governing Documents
Rules & Regulations and ACC Guidelines
The Bylaws of the Deer Creek Homeowners Association outline the governance of the association which includes the authority of the Board of Directors to pass resolutions and to develop rules and regulations. The Bylaws also establish the Covenants Committee which serves to assist all homeowners with compliance with the CCRs and all related guidelines and rules and regulations.
Rules & Regulations are designed to protect the quality of life within our community as well as maintain Deer Creek’s curb appeal and improve property values. The Rules & Regulations provide standards and restrictions for areas which are outside the purview of the Architectural Control Committee. These Rules & Regulations are not intended to be all-inclusive or exclusive, but rather serve as a guide to identifying improvements permissible in the community.
Architectural Control Committee (ACC) Guidelines provide a point of reference for the neighborhood and the ACC committee to use when addressing exterior additions, alterations or structural changes made by homeowners to their property (land and structures) as set forth in the CCRs and resolutions passed by the HOA Board of Directors. The ACC reviews all proposed property improvements or changes and either approves, rejects, or suggests changes to the plans, in accordance with the HOA’s governing documents.
The latest Rules & Regulations can be found in Section V and the ACC Guidelines are in Section IV of the Homeowner Handbook.
