Property Owners, Taxes, and Assessments

Although this public site is not "up to the minute",  the info can be useful.
Tennessee Property Assessment Data Website. Always fully open the record to see the latest owner. The one displayed in the search results is as of January 1.
 
In some areas of the country, real estate market value and property tax appraisals are similar.  That is not the case here.  Taxes do not change when a property sells, they only change after a county re-assessment (normally every 5 years) or when the county tax rate (often called the "multiplier") is changed.
